Booking Policy
JR Entertainments
Last updated: 17 June 2025
This policy outlines how bookings are made, secured, and managed for events booked with JR Entertainments.
1. Making a Booking
Bookings can be made via email, phone, social media, or through our website. A booking is not confirmed until we have received:
- A completed booking form (where applicable)
- The required deposit payment
- Confirmation from us via email
2. Deposit and Payment
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date.
- The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the event, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Payment can be made via bank transfer or other agreed methods.
3. Cancellations
- If you cancel more than 30 days before the event, no further payment is required (deposit remains non-refundable).
- If you cancel within 30 days of the event, 50% of the total balance is due.
- If you cancel within 7 days, the full balance is payable.
- In the unlikely event that JR Entertainments must cancel, we will offer a full refund or a suitable replacement service (subject to availability).
4. Changes to Bookings
- Minor changes (e.g. start time, venue address) must be requested at least 7 days in advance and are subject to availability.
- If you wish to change the date or key details of your event, this may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and adequate access to the venue and performance area.
- Provide any required permissions (e.g. venue approval, power access, parking).
- You are responsible for the conduct of your guests. Abusive or dangerous behaviour may result in services being stopped early with no refund given.
6. Force Majeure
JR Entertainments is not liable for cancellations or performance delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g. extreme weather, public transport strikes, national emergencies, illness).
