Terms and Conditions
JR Entertainments

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking with JR Entertainments. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by the terms below.
1. Definitions
- “Client” refers to the person or company making the booking.
- “JR Entertainments” / “We / Us” refers to the service provider.
- “Event” refers to the date, time, and location for which entertainment services are booked.
2. Bookings & Deposits
- A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit. The deposit amount will be stated in your booking confirmation.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than the day of the event, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Payments can be made by bank transfer or another method as agreed.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- By the Client:
- Cancellations must be made in writing.
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before the event, the full balance becomes payable.
- By JR Entertainments:
- In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your booking due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will attempt to provide a suitable replacement.
- If no replacement is available, a full refund (including deposit) will be issued.
4. Client Responsibilities
- The client must ensure the venue is suitable for the booked service, including access, power supply, parking, and performance space.
- Any required permissions (e.g., from the venue) must be obtained in advance by the client.
- The client agrees to provide a safe environment and take reasonable steps to prevent harm to our staff and equipment.
5. JR Entertainments’ Responsibilities
- We will provide the agreed services on the date and time confirmed in your booking.
- All equipment used will be PAT tested and we carry Public Liability Insurance.
- We reserve the right to stop services temporarily or permanently if safety is compromised or abuse is directed at staff.
6. Damage or Loss
- The client is responsible for any loss of or damage to our equipment caused by guests or the venue.
- If equipment is damaged and the service cannot continue, no refund will be given.
7. Use of Images
- We may take photos or videos at your event for promotional purposes.
- If you do not wish for images to be used, please let us know in writing before the event.
8. Force Majeure
- We are not liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, fire, national emergencies).
9. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
